Accommodations

The island of Martha’s Vineyard has limited availability for accommodations, please do not delay booking your room. We have secured two different accommodation options for guests:

We have secured a block of rooms at Summercamp in Oak Bluffs. Please call the hotel directly at (508) 693-6611 and refer to the Kohler/Mason Wedding when making your reservation. Summercamp rooms must be booked before August 7th.

We have also secured a limited block of rooms at the Vineyard Square Hotel in Edgartown. Please contact Erin at Destination Martha’s Vineyard, a local travel and concierge service, as they are handling all lodging arrangements for guests staying at the Vineyard Square Hotel.

Contact: Erin Leighton Huckins

Phone: 508-274-7955

Erin will help you in securing your Vineyard Square Hotel reservation. Please reference the Kohler/Mason Wedding when reaching out to her. She can also assist with car rentals, flight and ferry information, or anything else you many need with your stay. Vineyard Square Hotel rooms must be booked before August 15th.

Both, Summercamp and Vineyard Square Hotel, require a three-night minimum stay; we have room blocks for check-in on October 6th and check out on October 9th to accommodate for all scheduled wedding weekend events.

If you are only able to join us for Friday and Saturday night, the only hotel we could find with a two-night minimum is Mansion House Inn in Vineyard Haven, which is located near the clambake and ceremony, as well as The Harborview Hotel in Edgartown and i love you. the Winnetu Oceanside Resort. Other options include Airbnb and VRBO home rentals.

Transportation will be provided to and from all planned wedding weekend events including, the welcome party, nightcaps, ceremony, reception, and after party when staying at Summercamp or the Vineyard Square Hotel.

Getting to the Island

Here is a brief rundown of the multiple ways to get the island:

  • Flying directly into Martha’s Vineyard Airport (MVY).

  • Flying into Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and then driving to the Woods Hole, MA ferry terminal at 1 Cowdry Rd., Woods Hole, MA 02543 (via Uber or rental car), which is about an hour and a half drive from the airport.

    • If you rent a car in Boston you will need to purchase a car reservation for the ferry AND passenger tickets (for the number of people you have traveling in the car), which can be booked at https://www.steamshipauthority.com/

    • The ferry runs frequently and the times are listed on the schedule tab using the steamship authority link above.

    • If you take an Uber to the ferry terminal you can purchase a walk on passenger ticket on site at the ticket office.

  • If staying at Summercamp, please look for a Woods Hole to Oak Bluffs ferry, as the terminal is within walking distance to the hotel. You may also take the Woods Hole to Vineyard Haven ferry, but this route will require a ~15 minute taxi drive to the hotel. There are normally taxis available on site at the ferry terminal.

  • If staying at the Vineyard Square Hotel, you can take either the Oak Bluffs or Vineyard Haven ferry, as both ferry routes will require a taxi ride to the hotel.

  • Rental cars are available on the island, as well as taxi service, and Uber/Lyft. Uber/Lyfts are limited. We recommend Admiral Taxi, which can be reached at 508-693-2020. As mentioned above, once on the island transportation will be provided to and from Summercamp and the Vineyard Square Hotel to all wedding weekend events.

  • When returning home after the weekend, if you are walking on the ferry and then Ubering back to Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), please schedule a ride ahead of time in the Uber app for pick up when your ferry arrives in Woods Hole to ensure a timely ride to the airport.
